NEIGHBORHOOD DISCUSSION GROUPS

The North Omaha Development Project will move into the next phase following the first community-wide information meeting. Smallgroup neighborhood discussion meetings begin on April 24. The study area has been divided into six neighborhoods. Residents, business owners, community leaders and others are invited to attend any of the meetings for the specific task of defining priority community goals for individual neighborhoods.
Discussion topics for each neighborhood will include:

• Specific areas of opportunity for the neighborhood
• Community development possibilities
• Business, housing and neighborhood issues
• Neighborhood economic issues
• more

The North Omaha Development Project is a commitment of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, corporate leaders, elected officials, African American business leaders and the North Omaha community to make important investments in North Omaha. Community input in the process is important.
